| The “angst poster boy”
of the crew, Raven is a supernatural creature who
decided to shun society before society shunned him.
His origin is actually of two persons melded into
one entity: one, an African/Japanese ninja from
the 16th century, the other, a 17-year old student
killed by a drive-by. After being resurrected, Raven
makes a living as a visual graphic artist &
part-time dancer at some of the hip-hop clubs around
the Chicago area. Excelling in swordplay, Capoeria,
& Ninjitsu, Raven is already a force to reckon
with, even w/o his pyrokinetic powers. A cold-hearted
individual seeking those who killed him, he has
no qualms about fighting those who get in his way,
which puts him in odds with MidKnight on several
occasions. However, Raven only kills those who already
spilled innocent blood as he envisions what the
victims have seen. Having such powers left him alone
& avoid contact with others, and though he is
a performer, he is rather quiet and distant (especially
to women). He does show emotion when watching children
at play, feels some resemblance of his own innocence
lost & actually wishes to find acceptance within
himself & his mixed heritage. |
